Thumbs up new windshield!!! and top-down today

finally got the windshield replaced. Funny thing, I asked the shop last September, last as in September 2010. Phone calls and more phone calls and nothing ever came of it, like swimming in wet cement. Then this past summer it took a beating got a star crack and a 1/2 dozen smack's from gravel trucks. Just as well it never got replaced right? Then two days ago the shop calls and asks if I'm still interested in getting a new one. I said sure, go for it. 7 to 10 days he says the dealership says. Yesterday he calls me and says it's in. So today I went and had it installed Whew, what a difference This truck just gets better and better

Were you able to get the SSR windshield or was it after market?

SSR Windshield has SSR embedded in the windshield, center, close to dash.

After market is just as good, maybe better but it doesn't have the SSR Logo.

Iam on windshield # 3. All mine are SSR.

it was an SSR windshield, as I had requested from the start And the top rubber is new too
Oh yeah, insurance covered it. With my $200 deductible it still cost ICBC $900
