Took the R out this AM for my cup of coffee. When I was ready to come home, the engine in my R wouldn't fire up for more then 30 seconds.
After a number attempts with no luck, I ended up having AAA tow my R to the dealer.
The dealer can't get to it today so I hope I can sleep tonight without worrying about my R not being in the comfort of my own garage.

Is this as No Spark or No Crank? Not that I have an answer, just curious.

It smells like fuel when I had it running for those 30-60 seconds, but then maybe not as the coffee shop is right next to the gas station & 2 smog test centers on either side of the coffee shop so who know where the smell was coming from.

Hi Jeff:
I had a similar problem (not in an SSR) which turned out to be the RFID chip in the key fob; did you see a DRIVER 1 or 2 indication in the DIC? The security system prevents the fuel pump from running, which disables the vehicle but does allow it to crank and catch for a bit.
