Not sure the year of your 'R, but here's how from an '05 Owner's Manual

Engine Oil Life
Press the fuel information button until ENGINE OIL LIFE appears in the display. The engine oil life system shows an estimate of the oil’s remaining useful life.
It will show 100% when the system is reset after an oil change. It will alert you to change your oil on a schedule consistent with your driving conditions.
Always reset the engine oil life after an oil change. To reset the engine oil life system, press and hold the select button while ENGINE OIL LIFE is displayed.

See Engine Oil Life System on page 5-16 for more information. The engine oil life reading in the DIC does not replace the need to maintain your vehicle as recommended in the Maintenance Schedule in this manual. See Engine Oil on page 5-13, Change Engine Oil Light on page 3-37, and Scheduled Maintenance on page 6-4.

From page 5-16:How to Reset the Engine Oil Life
System
The Engine Oil Life System calculates when to change
your engine oil and filter based on vehicle use. Anytime
your oil is changed, reset the system so it can calculate
when the next oil change is required. If a situation occurs
where you change your oil prior to a change engine oil
light being turned on, reset the system.
Always reset the engine oil life system to 100% after
every oil change. It will not reset itself. To reset
the change engine oil light, do the following:
1. Press the fuel information button until ENGINE OIL
LIFE appears on the Driver Information Center
(DIC). See DIC Controls and Displays on page 3-42
for more information.
2. Press and hold the select button. The engine oil life
percentage will change to 100.
3. Turn the key to OFF.
If the change engine oil light comes back on when you
start your vehicle, the engine oil life system has not
reset. Repeat the procedure.

WOW, Mike . . . the posts ahead of mine are confusing to me and The Doophus has owned me since June 2005.

To reset the ENGINE OIL LIFE on the DIC . . .

With the Key On and the ENGINE OIL LIFE visible in the DIC display, hold the Lower Right Button on the Left Side of the Steering Wheel down for a few seconds until 100% appears.

The same applies to the other features in the DIC.

THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO IT.
