Old member back and needs help

My 2005 SSR was totalled in a hail storm here back in 2009. I've been out-of-the-loop since then.

I have located a 2005 for sale in Gilbert, AZ that I'm trying to make a deal on. The CARFAX report is clean. The car has 17K miles and looks to be in excellent condition. The price is $29900. I'm in El Paso and am a little uneasy about buying and going there to pick it up only to find something not right about the vehicle.

I'd be glad to pay one of you local Phoenix guys for your time if you could go take a look at the car and give it a test drive for me.

I'd just like to know that the top works correctly, the deck lid works, it runs strong, etc.

It's at Frontline Automotive on Acacia Dr in Gilbert. It's Smokin' Asphalt with ghost flames. VIN is 1GCES14H15B120195.

Good to see you back Walker.
I'm not sure whether this is productive information or not but Frontline just picked this up from Preoria Ford who had very recently listed it for $27.9. They obviously recognized it as an opportunity to capitalize on a nice one that was well priced.
It does look very pretty.
