Excellent advice!!! Take it from someone that knows. The winds out there did a number to my paint and windshild two years ago on the way home from Laughlin.

I wonder what the difference was between your's and mine...same wind, same sand, no damage to the ...maybe its acclimated to the environment

Need to leave earlier in the morning... miss those afternoon sand storms. Plus black showed every spec of missing paint... the nature of black, high maintenance!

Disaster has been avoided!!! But the R is now delayed till Thursday for pick up....parts were MISSING!! Expensive, only available from Michigan parts!!

Thanks hdflstf for tracking the parts down from the previous shop!

Thanks Thumper for looking for me!

Huge thanks to RSSRTOY for tracking down where I could get the parts, pricing and delivery times just in case I needed to order them!! You ROCK!

At least tomorrow when I deliver the missing parts, I’ll get to see my R… maybe take some more pictures!!

I got to see my R this morning... I fought traffic ALL Morning! Bumper to bumper traffic.. what a nightmare!Started off driving at 7am to hdflstf to pick up the parts... then to Brea to drop off the parts...then back to the office. Spent some time with Mr. D & Bob ogling the R. WOW is it shiny black!!! LOVE the deepness of the black we picked! The clear coat really made the artist's work pop! I get to pick it up tomorrow!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I forgot my camera in the charger... got a couple on my phone... but can't figure out how to download them Guess you'll just have to wait till Saturday!
