While checking out a new friends Pacific Blue today I discovered he and his wife have a custom painted Prowler with matching trailer for sale. Some kids get all the toys!
Good morning Warrior=='06, taking a look in our full length mirror this morning, my "umphh" did NOT match my (beautiful-deleted) body lines either!!! :frown2: :crying: and everybody say :amen: tennesseecozydog 76 and a 124 days OLD!
I recently sold my 2001 Prowler. It weighed in at appx.2800lbs,and 255 H.P.Also have two 2006 SSR's.I would guess the Prowler would give the SSR's "A RUN FOR THE MONEY". Any actual results out there? Thanks Bob
IMO, one of the coolest looking factory cars ever built. :cool I applaud Chrysler Corp. (or whoever they are theses days) for building it.
I've always wondered if they were as "under powered" as everyone expected? Now I know. :liebe011:

BTW, the "Blue" that IndianaCraig inspected was for a friend here in little ol' Winnie, Texas, population ~2000. Lester plans to fly up and get it next week. woohoo
Two weeks ago another friend here picked up a "Redline Red" from a Houston Fanatic.
Probably the "coolest" little town in Texas! ...or world, same thing. :harhar:

When I (we) decided to sell my "classic car" (1968 AMX) and my wife's 2005 Mercedes SLK350 (2 seat-retractable hardtop) I still wanted a toy. I have always thought of a Prowler but it gave us the same problem the SLK did: Convertible but no room to store/haul anything. That is one of the main reasons I went with the SSR, best of both worlds: Convertible, 2 seat with a REALLY big trunk!!
Same reason we decided on an SSR... STORAGE!!! The cool aspect just happen to come with it. :cool
But, a Prowler with a cute little trailer would work... wouldn't it? Kinda, sorta, maybe? :confused
Nah. Not for me. :nodno

If you want power put a Eldorado 500 inch front wheel drive set up in the trunk :surprise: Then you won't need the v6 wasting room under the hood :smile2:
Might have to call Jerry for help.
I like V-8s, but Kenny Dutweiller does Buick V-6s.
HRM] How much power were you making back then?
KD] It started out that if you could make 600 hp on the dyno, everybody was ecstatic—they couldn’t believe it. Then a year later, it was 1,200 hp and 20 years later or whatever it’s 1,900 hp. I’ve got one on the stand right now that made 1,930 hp. That’s from a 265ci V6 engine. The evolution is interesting because started out with a stocker that made 200 hp and then we just kept adding better turbos and better everything.
