parts availability

new bulletin from gm today 5-10-07
sez in part----- gm recognizes there are availability problems on specific number of parts for the ssr they fully intend to maintain necessary tooling and inventory and standards of service for the required time period---- a workshop was recently conducted to develop a comprehensive strategy to address the availability issues on the ssr ---hang in there baby --frank

Have you noticed that GM is not hesitating to buy back SSRs that are reported to have repeated problems. Do the math.....they need the parts!!

manufacturers are supposed to supply parts for a vehicle for 10 years after its last production date, if I recall...
