Nice one Mrs Hatterhead I wonder if Queen Elizabeth II has ever seen or heard of an SSR!
I'm trying to get used to calling the Purdie, after a character in a TV series we had over here years ago called The Avengers - Purdie was a sassy action character played by a very young Joanna Lumley.
Our 3 year old granddaughter 'expects' cars to have names so her Mum's VW is Neville (index mark NVL), Grandma's Vauxhall Zafira was Vera for the rhyme but goodness knows why her Dads old (hobby / classic) BMW is Beryl, though I suppose it scans.
So, when I can remember she's Purdie, most people just refer to 'the truck' which is fine as pickups in general aren't all that common over here.
We call her the KillerBee and she is just the latest of a long line of KillerBee's in our lives. See some of the others below.
The KillerBee was named for a long driver (golf club) that I used to hit. They allowed me to use their logo on my cars and referred to me as Dr. Killerbee in their brochures.
Mine is Dream Weaver. 05 Silver, blower, Dayton knock off wire wheels, Brembo brakes, and custom interior. Just made 1700 miles with a few issues. Fun.
I EITHER SAY TO THE BRIDE "I'M TAKING THE "CRICKET" OR "JIMINY"....OTHERWISE THE "SNOWMOBILE" MY 1999 OLDS "88" PURCHASED FOR KEEPINGCLEAN AND CONSERVE MILEAGE IN BAD WEATHER
