Polished Letters Installed

I received Dakota Doc Martins letters earlier in the week. I asked Doc not to powder coat the S's. I took them to a local shop and had both polished. I installed them last night. Here is how they came out. Still need to touch them up with the Wenol and trim a little of the adhesive around the R. Even my wife liked it.

Next project is to buy one of SSR6SPD violet covers when I get from vacation. Have the same company strip it and polish it and I've got an idea for the raised SSR logo in the cover. If it comes out as good as I think it would I'm sure others would be interested. I also want to paint the engine cover Blue...and that will be it for under the hood.

Looks good Bagger. I've seen these on Ebay as well as the liquidome inserts for the door sills.

Bagger, the SS letters polished like that really look nice. I'm having a couple of sets of them done in chrome after the first of the year to see how that turns out. If all goes well, and if they don't cost me arms and legs, I should have them available that way also.
