Pricing on OEM seat covers????

My driver's seat cushion cover is starting to show wear so, just out of curiosity, I went on-line to check pricing on new OEM covers.
To my surprise, the seat cushion and seat back cover for the driver's seat are about 40% cheaper than the same covers for the passenger seat.
I would have thought that they would be about the same $$ or that the driver's side would be more expensive since the driver's side gets more use and would be more in demand.
Just one of those things that make you go HMMMMMM...

One that got me was the front window side garnishing (outside A pillar covers, plastic) passenger side was G.M. quoted as something like $180 and the drivers side is over $300.

So I bought used when I did my mirror mod.

When I replaced The Doophus's tires last year . . .

The smaller Fronts with less rubber were more expensive than the larger Rears.

Go figure!
