Usually end of January, around the 26th! Its about a 4-5 hour drive from the LAX area (I'm about 15 mins from LAX)... Normally, we caravan & hit a couple of pick up areas... Ontario, Bakersfield, etc. Breaks up the drive & you don't notice the length of the drive so much...

You need to show him how to drive across the water Mike. A Pilot without his R. is like a Duck out of water. Oh! while your at it show his co-pilot how to cross the big Lake too.
Besides my Nephew just brought his Mini Cooper S. to the Main Land on a Barge for $600.00 Smackeroos. Well they can leave the R with me until they they come back for another trip. That saves another $600.00. I promise I won't drive it every day.
