Radio and controls cover ?

In my research there is mention of a cover for the audio and controls, was this just a concept or did GM offer this as an accsy. Is there a cover available aftermarket, has anyone fabricated such a thing? I have not seen one but it "sounds" like a good idea. Thx R

The Concept as well as a pre-production had a flip cover.
I really like the one in the preproduction (pic #1) but it was never offered in any production models.

Alright then, I will design my own. This will be a fun and functional project, already have some concepts that will clean up the dash and protect the radio, top down , sunburn etc.. I will let you know later. Did not want to spend a lot of time if something was available. Do you think there may be any interest in a simple solution? Randayn
