There is a link by ubuck in "Great Website for Our SSRs" that list all Service Bulletins from 2003 to Present.
THANK YOU ubuck! I printed off two bulletins that pertained to my '05, took them to my local Chevy dealer, he looked at the mileage, ordered the parts and will install late next week.
I had read about the Serpentine Belt Chirp but had not seen the Bulletin No.04-06-01-031A. which calls for the replacement of the Alternator with a new Alternatior with a pulley clutch.
But had not heard of Bulletin No. 05-08-58-002.
Subject-Road Noise in vehicle cab. May be caused by a the pressure relief valve allowing road noise to enter the cab.
Correction- install a foam insulator "part #15777315" in front of the left and right pressure relief valve behind the panel in the rear fender well.
I've searched but cannot find the article where GM & Dealers particpate in the repair cost if you ask them to. can anyone help with this info?
thanks
jeaux
Sure, Just order the part by number from your Chevy Dealer. According to the Bulletin you pull the rear wheel, remove the fender liner to get access to the valve in the back of the cab.
