I REALLY love yellow and black, had a Dodge Van back in the day, yeller with the lower half black. Makes life hard, everyone recognises you but you're just seeing "cars" go by and wave at the last minute, you feel like a jerk..
Saw the Yellow Vettes with the black rag top, love at first sight. But after careful consideration, not the deal for me, I like to travel. Can't go cross country without a suitcase.. Let it ride five years, never saw an SSR on the road once, didn't know how other people saw them, but I knew it was for me, popularity be *)&#!, here was a hardtop that didn't eat the trunk, camp, tote enough for a three month vacation and go top down all the way..
The first and only one I saw was RED, RED, RED, as I describe Redline.. I told them I wanted a new yellow one, but it was a very RURAL dealership, "required" to buy one, where corvettes and sports jobs lay dead in the water.
He told me he was going to save me enough money I could paint the thing yellow six times and still have change.. LOL, I actually did "better then that"...
Now I love my RED baby, I like yellows top down so the two tone effect is evident, but have no regrets or interest in a change when and IF I grab another one for show and storage...
IF, I go that unusual investment strategy, I'll have two reds... Just love the whole concept, color, and somebody messed up in the marketing department at GM.. I believe it's the best vehicle in a sporty class, period. All the sporty goodies and you can head out for Alaska in the time it takes to pack the bags.. Don't get much better then that..
Reds for me, but that's why they make cars different colors. We all got our own tastes....

What do you think REDLINER'S
To show our strong support as the best color club we should show RoadsterJim's Avatar in all of our avatar's for the month of June... WHAT DO YOU THINK DEAL OR NO DEAL ????

I thought I would take the liberty to make up another of Jim's versions (Made by Roadster Jim) for all of you redline reds to have. They both use a clear background so they will only show the Red outline if you use it in your signature area and or Avatar areas.

I was in Washington for the last couple weeks and had a chance to drive around the country for a couple hours.... 5 acres worth. Does this red roadster qualify me to join your club?????

Pretty small numbers
Cash,
They only made 532 Blue SSRs. Even with the small number produced, I don't really feel isolated. If I was feeling lonely, I'd probably try to barge into the UV group if they'd have me. Truth is, I think that no matter what color they are on the surface, they are all the same inside...... And they are ALL beautiful.
As a mattter of fact.... the Kubota is really orange..... I was just poking at the snootyness of "clubs" within our ranks......

I'll pass on initiating a blue club..... There are too few of us and I never liked the segregation of minorities.
