since OCT. is breast cancer awareness month...

i had this shirt made for the st.pete pier show a few months ago, but never posted a pic. seemed an appropriate time to show it off to the rest of the fanatics. my sister is a breast cancer survivor (2yrs), so i wear this for her.
hope you like it.

No, they are treating it with chemo & Taxotere and Cytoxan (TC) to try to shrink it.. its about 10cm in diameter, which means it is too big to operate on right now. (I forget the exact name of the cancer.. but its a bad one!) After the chemo & TC treatments they will re-evaluate to see to do next. They will be doing surgery to remove & reconstruction the breast for sure. Thanks for the prayers!

After going thru chemo myself, I think one of the best ways to do it is with a PMA (positive mental attitude). Sometimes it's difficult (I had to do it for a year) but the more positive the better. I think the body feeds off the positive vibes.

Car Show

In 2004 my wife had was recovering from her last breast cancer surgery. We had just got her PT Cruiser out of the paint shop. We had it tu-toned black/bright silver at the belt line including the hood, and the bumpers changed to body color. The car already had a mild Chrysler ground effects kit and chrome five spoker wheels.

We had also had a Whipple SuperCharger and Borla duals installed.(a 255 HP PT).

I had entered the car in a local Car Show in Slidell, LA sponsored by Pep Boys to benefit The Breast Cancer Association. At first my wife said she did not feel like attending, but decided at the last minute to go if she could come home early. She stayed all day, talked to everyone there, in fact she did not hear her name called over the PA System because she was talking.

She won 1st Place in her Car Class. She has her trophy and Tee Shirt in her display case. The name of the Car Show, "SAVE THE HOOTERS".

Two weeks later I asked if she wanted to show the car in Hattiesburg,MS. She said I already have 1st Place. And she really does.
