How about a registration page: you could have their user name next to their cars production number in numerical order. It would be cool to see how many of the first year cars end up on this site.

A registry is a great idea. I will look around to see if there is any good packaged software to do this. If not, I have some code on corvetteforum that I can use. :
My SSR: #1725, Red 2003, MagnaCharger, Billet Power servo and 4th Gear servo, Edlebrock/Custom Exhaust
Troy, take a look at this site. It's another car forum I am a member of and seems pretty cool. Not much different and maybe even the same software but different version (yours seem newer).
Troy,
First, I'd like to say thanks for a great site, even though I don't own an SSR I want the SSR to become a success story for G.M. and the people who build them in Lansing.
How about sponsors to help with future cost, this site will only get bigger and better with more SSR owners.

Front page - Yes, I really do need to update that. I moved back to Florida late last year and my wife had our third child in September. I've let some things get behind and the front page on ssrfanatic is one of them. I will try to get it updated soon. Long run I want to have an automated content management system that will make it much easier to modify the front page. It may even make it possible to allow some members space on the front page to add news items on their own.
Registry - I will get this setup.
Advertisers - When I set this site up I never really expected it to make a profit. I'm not against that by any means, I just figured that it's going to be a pretty small market. If I can get some advertisers I would gladly do so. I think that they can ad helpful information to the community as well as offer good deals to members. As it stands now, I run this site on the computer that I already lease for Corvetteforum. www.corvetteforum.com is the site that pays the bills. I just thought that the SSR was too cool of a truck not to setup a site for it.
SSR of the month - I like that idea. Let me get to work on it. I'll want to copy over the automated system that I use for corvetteforum. It will take a little time to get it done.
