I think that was an SSR for sale in Calgary if I remember correctly. I know at the time I thought it might have been a couple of car salesmen.
So who is this?
Is that 11 seconds 123.47 mph or was it the SSR 11 seconds and the POS beside him just over 2 minutes?

Me too. I did one at Laughlin coming out of the Show and Shine. This was at the request of the Findley Chevrolet Employees.

That one I posted was his 4th attempt at it, it kept pushing off the burnout pad, if your vehicle moves they stop it ... 4th time was the charm, I just can burn off the 20's considering what they cost !!!
the church actually put the concrete pad in just for this, it's part of the yearly show and shine, of course the pad was DONATED !!

actually given that he is not required to dragged the rear rotors (notice the 4x6 blocks) against the motor there where 'no animals harmed' in this little stunt other than knocking a a couple of thousand miles off the tread life of those rear tires. I loved it.
Just make sure your oil level up and the rev limiter looks after everything else. Once you break the tires loose and heat 'em you can maintain smoke like this at a very reasonable rpm with no harm to any mechanical pieces whatsoever. I use Hurst Linelocks for said purposes with no worries as it takes very little torque to maintain this show.

jail too
You don't think wrecking his cool truck and having the entire world witness his driving skills (or lack off) is enough. That's harsh.

You must admit that it is fun to burn a little rubber once in a while. Especially just before its time to replace those old worn out tires.

I'm a Hot Rodder. I belonged to an Old Rod Club; called the "Smokers." We took pride in how far we could Smoke-em.
