Sorry to say but for your records I traded my SSR in last week on a used Corvette convertible......have to thank all who have helped me with problems and all the info that was passed around was priceless. Vin # 1GCES14P83B103303 it was a great truck but couldn't take it anywhere without worrying that someone would be standing on the running board when I would get back to it .......only had 6400 miles since new....Had on autotrader and had one phone call in over a month. Figured I would drive a Vette again and not worry because you see them everywhere......take care all, John

When you get your next one (and you know you will) just take the running boards off of it if that is a problem.

Never crossed my mind that somebody would step on either of my running boards. I sold my Vette to purchase the SSR and never looked back. It seemed like every other time I stopped at a stoplight....a Vette would be within my vision. Great cars, but the only way I would even get another one is when the C7s come out. That will have the "unique" stamp of approval, something my SSR already has.
Hi JJ. Congrats on your Vette. I'll check it out in the Spring. Your R was in showroom condition. You took beautiful care of it. Can't blame you for not wanting to park it anywhere. The new owner got a great looking, amazing condition SlingShot.
My SSR: "Kate" a Haughty Redhead, '06 Redline FPR 6 spd. #23333 Build Date 2/16/06

I never was a good READER. I missed the key word "TRADED".
JJ's R was a Queen. It lived in the garage. (my kind of car). The paint was always shinning. A+ on the condition. I hope it sells for the listed price. Our R's get rarer every day.
