Thumbs up SSR on Mecum Auction

I was just watching the Mecum, St Charles, IL auction on HD TV.
Saw a nice redline 2003 SSR with 10,000 miles sell for $29,000. That's more than I paid for mine 5 years ago. So maybe prices are holding steady on these cool trucks. Also there were no negative comments from the announcers.

Ron, thanks for the information. I guess the 05 and 06 will bring even more money.

Yes, I would think so at this time anyway.
Who knows about the future, but with the LS2 engine they will probably always be worth more.

Mecum / Monterey, CA (one month earlier) - 2003 with 3600 miles sold for less than $20,000......maybe some odd circumstances, don't know.

Don't forget the $29,000 has 7% in it for commission.

Money can't buy..................

Anyway most of us will never know what the future value will be! So why save it for somebody else, drive em. I just got back from the Flagstaff Rally after loging 5,000 miles round trip. Money can not buy this many permagrin's!

Yeah, I don't know why I would be concerned about the resale value anyway...I'm not going to sell my SSR as long as I can drive and enjoy it!
That cross country trip to Flagstaff and back was the most fun we've had in many years!!! Wouldn't have come close in any other vehicle.

Hey Scott I agree with you I carpool to work with my daughter but always take that long awaited Sunday afternoon ride to where ever I happen to end up. Which usually means at least 100 miles, turn the disk player up and just grin and go. My only regret has been that I did not do this years ago!!

I will be looking for you at Grandma's this weekend.
