yada- I stumbled onto the SSR forum from the Corvette forum and started reading the posts and especially the posts by Hot Rod Girl...I was hooked. I did see two in traffic one day and thats when I went and cashed in a CD and put 25 thousand cash on the Chevrolet Salesmans desk.
She figured I was serious and busted her butt to find The SSR that I wanted.
When I saw the Gold metal flake in the Aqua Blur paint - I really did get a lump in my throat. I was in Love!
5 great years now.

I wanted one when I saw the car carrier commercial. The first 2 years we looked at every one we could find. I refused to pay over sticker and told each dealer "Tell GM to put a stick in it!" Not sure if that helped but then I heard 6 speeds were comming. So on April 17th 2005 I did a computer search of Chevy dealers stock and found 1 fully loaded Slingshot about an hour away. We hopped on our motorcycle to go check it out. After a 5 mile test ride and chirping 2nd and 3rd gear a few times, it was mine with 10 miles on it. (well the banks) Now 6 years and 72 payments later the title came in the mail. NOW IT'S ALL MINE!
