At the bottom of the map page there is now a link to a request form.
It works in conjunction with the map to find and record the map location where the pin is to go.
To use the map request,
Zoom the map as much as possible,
Double click on the place where you desire a pin located, the map should scroll that place, to the center of the map,
click on the request a pin link below,
The form should be filled in with the needed lat. and long.

Machell, I did get an email from you but it was missing the info from the request form. After hitting the submit button did you send the resulting email? The body of the email should have looked something like what ssr blur sent.
I got the setup page and clicked the submit button which took me to my email box. but nothing was in the body of the email. Should I redo it?
Wildcat,
It wouldn't do any good unless we can figure out why the info from the form isn't being added to the email's body.
Let's take this step by step, tell me where I have it wrong...
- You use Yahoo mail
- When the ssr form's submit button was clicked, yahoo mail came up by default.
- When yahoo mail came up there was a new message started
- That messages was preaddressed to gkbeer@gmail.com
- There was a subject line of "SSr Owner Pinmap Request"
- There was no text in the body of the message, that much I got.
Thanks man...what a cool map. I am officially pinned!

Funny though, my house did not appear. all was a blur.
Not all areas have the same coverage. The blurred areas are landsat imagery. The sharper areas are mostly from arial photography. Some areas don't have images for the highest zoom.

My area must have some aerial photography. If you zoom in on my area you will notice the Veteran's Administration Center to the right of my location. It was built around the turn of the last century. Very unique building.

Beer 100,
Thanks for the great job on the pin mapping, as a new member it's very nice to be able to look and see if any of the people I have passed might really live in the same area as I do. Hasn't happened yet though.
