GT is 281 cu...300hp...Interesting and That explains why I dusted one GT recently that got froggy at a light. He went, I didn't. The next light he was waiting for me - eye contact was made and off we went. I poured by him in 2nd gear and could hear him rowing thru the gears. In my thoughts I was thanking Paul Simpson for selling me the Superchips Tuner. I see now the Mustang is 'all sizzle and no steak.'...... 'Big hat - no cattle.' Feels Great, doesnt it Sis..!!

I'd like to give it a try... Ya know, I'd have a good chance. Guys that drive Fords obviously can't drive so well...... Or maybe that's just you and Robert....

Hey, has anyone noticed this leaving guy runs faster now? Must be a Chevy guy.

I have owned some great Mustangs and the 65' convt was my favorite. Yes - a V-10 605hp Cobra would wipe my tail. I will point out that the upcoming 1970's look Mustang has a 6.2 liter 400hp mill, from the current 300hp 4.6 liter. American iron, rear-wheel-drive is my playground. BUT I would die for a 40th anniversary GT500KR Shelby. 540hp @ 6250rpm and 510lb-ft @ 4500. Yummo! But another old school shows up - The Eleanor Mustang is a repro by Unique Performance. I remember the movie "Gone in Sixty seconds" with a gussied-up '67 fastback and Angelina Jolie riding shotgun with Nick Cage the driver. Even the "Bullitt" Mustang is being built and available with your $$$.

I was referring to the Mustang Cobra VS. SSR...not a Cobra Cobra. Anyway, good Stang info. Thanks.
