TOTAL GMS VEHICLE PRICE*** $42,545.20

Dealer Invoice: $ 44,826.20

Unless you have a relative that works for GM the dealer invoice is what you want to look at. I just gave you the options I have on mine so you can compare. Hope this helps you out. If you are gonna buy it, get the 0% Financing, and even if they have say a $5000 rebate after July 5th, the bank loans for a new car are around 7% depending on where u live. I calculated it and say I take the 0% for 5yrs and compare it with takin a rebate of $5000 with a 7% bank loan, well you only save $200 with the bank loan, so its a wash, but the 6 yr loan you will have smaller monthly payments. Anyway good luck!

Sincerely,

Martin

That's one part to NOT install if it hasn't been already. Maybe call the dealer and make sure they don't drill the holes. There is a nicer bracket available as an aftermarket accessory. I'm glad I don't have the holes in my grill.

Haha, yeah I told the guy right after I made the deposit, NO FRONT PLATE! I had a camaro Z-28 in college and I bought it used and it came with a front plate and I took it off and behind it was a beautiful red bowtie. So much better!

Enjoy the ride. You will realize that you are putting a smile on the faces of everyone that sees the car. Expect to have people ask you what you are driving at stop signs.

I was driving last nite in Downtown Chicago down on Ontario and Dearborn and this one guy is just hypnotized by it and says to me what is it? I tell him its a Chevy SSR. He goes: "Thats, a Chevy?" I'm like, yup.

Anyway that is the first nite I have it and people's jaws dropped. Nobody knows what it is, which is awesome! I had women wanting a ride in it, kids pointing and waving to me, people's eyes bug out...etc, etc

I remember writing a question when I first joined this website asking the following:

Which is cooler, the 2006 SSR or 2006 Corvette?

Now I can answer my own question and the answer is:

2006 SSR!

Thanks again everyone! Soon I will have pix

Best Reguards,

Martin

The fun is just beginning. You won't be able to wipe the smile off your face. It trully is one of life's little pleasures. You might want to reconsider the factory wind screen. I got it on my 05 and do use it all the time, but a guy on this forum sells the wind supressor and it sounds like a much better idea. It is clear plexiglass and all of the comments from the guys and gals who have it have been positive and it is less expensive. Just a thought, but all of your other items are great. I know because I have the same stuff on mine. Welcome aboard.

All My Best,
Joe
