Tire leaks

I have 14k miles on my goodyear eagle tires. I picked up a nail @ 12k and had it patched. It still leaked. They tried re-patching and it still leaked. The tech said the tire had a case leak. Anyone heard of this? Does goodyear have a warranty on these?

My guess is no road hazard warranty unless you bought separately.
I haven't heard of many complaining about tire leaks.

Did you have a leak problem before the nail?

Maybe they need to plug it?
