We didn't even have an emergency tire in that area, so sorry you had to leave your baby behind...
Some have put in spare tire kits and some have just thrown a spare in the back but that takes up to much room...
Guess your can of sealant didn't work either....
Hope everything turns out ok....

There is no cure and only one real solution. Call the BBB at 1-800-955-5100 which is step 3 of the dispute resolution. This can also easily be interpretated as a real safety issue. The rims were specified by GM and there NO alternative applications recommended. There are only two manufactures that offer the fronts and rears as matching sets, also recommended. They are Goodyear and Firestone. Goodyear has no production schedule for the rear tires at all. They have a tentative production date for the front of 4/21 but did not refer to what year. Firestone has fronts but no plans for rears in the near future. This is NOT an acceptable situation and General Motors attitude that this situation is the owners problem is unacceptable. The Better Business Bureau complaint resolutions service agreed and processed my complaint. No spare, run flats not available for the front and no rim with the specified offsets make this tire requirement unique. Protest and spread the word
GM is correct about the aspect ratio change (well, sort of). In a generic sense, they are correct. The problem is that in the case of our front tires you can get a 40 series (aspect ratio change from 45 to 40) BUT the overall diameter is the same. So the ABS will think there is a 27 in tall tire up front and will respond accordingly. A change to a different 27 in tall tire will not change this.

I do not wish to get into dynamic response of ABS discussion with you but even a 1" diameter change will not effect ABS to any measurable degree, as long as, the diameter "change" is the same on all four wheels. 0.5" diameter change difference is OK between front and rear

No need to discuss that as it has been beat to death before. I'm just pointing out, regardless of what the math associated with what the tire manufacturer prints on the sidewall of the tire a 27 in tall GY RSA is the same diameter as a 27 in tall (say 40 series Dunlop for instance). Of course, that dead horse has been beaten into submission as well.
