Hi all, I rececently (last week) purchased a 2005 Smokin Asphalt SSR. I bought it in N.C. It has 23K miles on it. I haven't stopped smiling, I even peek in the garage before I go to bed! I have a question, the painted area between the seats is screaming for an SSR logo like the corvettes have. Does anyone know where you might get one? Thanks!

Welcome for So. Calif...
Do a search at e-bay under Chevy SSR, all kinds of parts will show up and you can also PM Ed at QWKSSR he makes badges that go on the waterfall area......
I'm actually in the Norfolk, VA area, the car was purchased out of N.C. I saw the waterfall logo on eBAY. Can you have one made with your serial number on it? How do I PM on this site?

Hi....I'm originally from Virginia Beach. CruznEd is also from the beach.
I believe that you have to make 3 posts to be able to start PMing (or be a member for a month...something like that).

Hi Shadowman. I am very recent also although I bought my '05 new. You won't get over the "looking in on her" bit. My garage door is never closed and I have my spot light on evening til bed and say good night to the girls every night. Weird but true!!

Shadowman,
We call it PermaGrin and it is a wonderful feeling isn't it. Welcomet to the family from California. Get used to spending a lot of time thinking about ways to change your new found toy because they just keep popping up. THik about becoming a supporting member or Lifetime member as well. It is cheap for all the support you get from the group and you do not have all the ads, just a few.
