Just kicking around the idea of painting the roof of my SSR cream or silver.
My wife said no way!
I love old two tone cars and trucks.
Please help with any info or photos to show her how good a SSR would look.
UV 2004

My SSR: Originally Smokin Asphalt 03 #00099 now kustom graphics, tu-tone Kandy Lime Green/Pearl White
Draw one up yourself.
I posted a sketch in the gallery under concepts & drawings a while back for everyone to use for testing/ desiging paint schemes. Just print it out and color it any way you want.
If you don't tell her where you got the sketch, she might be impressed with what you've created.
I have a picture of an Ultra Violet that is yellow on the bottom and looks great but I don't remember where I got it. I have it printed and could scan it for you if you wanted to see that combo.

Marc,
http://www.google.com/imghp is the Google image search. 30+ pages for a search on "SSR" - I'm on google results page 30 (from the www.reyn.com) web site - with my SSR hawaiian shirt!

Found it. Looks like they are around $20 per grill tooth and then you need a bunch of other goodies to make the transformation into a real SSR Monster with TEETH!!! Get your dental floss ready!
My SSR: '04 Smokin' #3506: gone but not forgotten, twas lemony.
I definitely plan on two-toning mine. Was going to buy a silver and paint the top half black or midnight blue, but I ended up buying a black one - probably will be silver on the bottom in this case, but I've seen other colors at the bottom of two-tone cars with black on top, so we'll see.
It looks AWESOME in 2 colors, which is why GM is hinting at doing it, I'm sure.

Nope, price difference was so great with the deal I got, I took an '04. Still dig it very much though, not *too* much in the way of compromise by taking the 04, IMHO.

Can I re-up this thread and ask for mockups of two-tone jobs with black on top and a few colors on the bottom? Metallics like copper, silver-green, steel blue, that kind of thing? I have no photo software robust enough to do such a thing (and thus, not enough photo edit experience even if I had the tools).
