Which SSR is the Holy Grail.....
We all have an opinion and this thread is not for mean posts.
I think Redcats # 12 is the Holy Grail
I think CoolSSR blue orange is #2
All the pace cars #3
What do you think?
I will always think # 12 is the ultimate!
What is your opinion......don't be mean or rude...just give you opinion and this thread will be fun!
Please comment nice and lets see real opinions~

I like to think every is the one!! Just to own one and belong to this outstanding crew is where it's at!! Everyone I see lights me up!! I happen to own a .. black is beautiful.. that's my $.02's
I will go in a different direction from rare stuff and point out Merlins custom as super clean n trick truck. I dont think he gets the attention that, the truck deserves.
Diamond back was a favourite of mine till she died.

I've seen Mr Merlin's SSR a couple of times at the Peoria Truck Show and it is really a cool custom! A lot of thought, and work has gone into that SSR!
My SSR: 2006 FPR (last day) Pacific Blue #24092 "Jax" Sig #12
Thanks Jeff...I feel embarrassed. There are allot of nice ones out there. Charlie's is gorgeous....the pace trucks are awesome too and all the cool customs and the stock ones. I feel blessed that I have my stock one. The only custom feature is the red paw prints on the back window. They can be easily removed. I never thought I would own Sig. 12. too. A dream come true for me. Whenever I'm out driving and I see an R...it always gets my attention no matter what color etc. Like I always say it would be boring if we all liked the same thing so no mater what your favorite is get out there and enjoy your truck & all the great people.
My take on this one Jeff is as follows..... All SSR'S are the "HOYL GRAIL" to the massess that see them running down the interstate...... And say..... "What a cool rig" no matter the color, as it should be. Most don't know about production numbers and what was offered by G.M. When it came to these rigs.... Heck many of the massess think that they are still being made by G.M. I understand the jest of your post here Jeff, the "INTERCIRCLE" that is in the know about these rigs.... Know the following: "THE SIGNATURE SERIES"...... "THE PACE TRUCKS"..... "THE TWO TONES".... "THE F/P RUN SERIES" and last, but not least "THE REGULAR PRODUCTION RUN " of these rigs.... All of the forementioned are a great example of what was offered by G.M. and promoted by G.M. Never to be duplicated ever again.
So.... In parting Jeff..... No matter the color(s).... The rig's number in the production of the SSR.... The year.... The opitions.... The series.....They are ALL the "HOLY GRAIL" in my eye's.

Jeff, I think the flame pace truck is it for me. After all I bought one
Although I have never seen Charlie's truck. I will let you know after the dream cruise if my taste changes.
For me.....Hellvis. I've made it my own over the last 5 and a half years, for me.
I love Mr. Merlin's truck, I had the good fortune to see it in Kerrville in '09. If you have not seen this truck, you cannot appreciate the attention to detail, simply awesome!
I love the tutones, still have three. The Flame trucks, they are awesome. I pursued Flame Truck # 4 from October 2008 when it was at Barrett Jackson, until April of this year when I drove it home. It is my holy grail of Pace Trucks.
Charlie's Pace Truck, never seen it in person, but again, awesome. If I could afford it when he decides to sell it, and he offered it to me, I'd buy it on the spot.
Sig 12, the best I've seen of the Sigs. Too bad Sig 4 was not maintained, otherwise that one would have been my weapon of choice.
Each and every SSR that members put their hearts and souls into, my holy grail. My passion for the SSR leans more to the modified trucks, the passion and ingenuity built into each truck keeps me enlightened and motivated to do more, more, more.

Other than my own custom it would be hard to pick since there are so many out there to choose from....over 24,000 but...since I'm drawn to the customs I'd have to choose Hellvis and Sinister.
Looking forward to seeing what Blackie has done to his once its finished.
Of course, if someone wants to give me a flamed pace truck, I would change my mind quickly

I am honored to have my SSR mentioned in this thread.
The Brickyard Pace SSR was my Holy Grail from the day I first saw a picture of it taken at Indy.
All the stars aligned and I was able to purchase it years later.
There are a lot of fantastic SSR's out there.
Some stock, some custom and some special from the factory.
Everyone has there own taste. That is what makes the world go around.
Stock or mod, Mono or Tu-tone, Queen or Driver, my hope is that all who smiled wide when one first rolled past in 2003 get a chance to own & drive one. Here the one with the top going down on it is the grail of the moment.

Enjoy them while you can. Life is way to short.

Charlie, you and I spoke about your love for the Brickyard Pace SSR long before it came up for sale.
I can honestly say, I've never been happier about a member's acquisition of an SSR than the day you were the successful bidder on your dream truck that resides in your garage!

Rick Wagoner's #50 orange is the absolute Holy Grail for me. The only one I would want as much would be the last #24112, and the Concept to book end the collection. Now, back to reality.

Don't you mean Paul Wilburs' #17466 orange?
Wagoner's #50 was a more of a Signature clone.

"Holy Grail" of SSR's.....I had no idea there was one.
I've yet to see any SSR that I didn't like.
If someone is asking, well from a hot rod guy's side of the coin......Doug Allen's Helvis is #1 for me. Not only is it really cool, it's very well done. And best of all....he drives it.
I've seen to many Holy Grail cars just sitting in the garage because they are to valuable so drive. I'm guilty of this also.
