Why is it?

My SSR is a semi daily driver. Based on mileage for the past year I drove the SSR ~4000 miles and my Scion xA ~3800 miles. (Wowee 8000 miles in a year in Houston)::
Question:

Why is it I never see another a SSR on days I drive the SSR, but I regularly see others when driving the xA???

I know why...

When you are driving the SSR, your SMILE is SO BIG that it squints your eyes so tight you can only see the road in front of you. The SSRs are there, ya just can't see them.

Happens to me too.

Then I feel really stupid when I realize I'm waving frantically from my crew cab.

You are obviously on the every other day schedule. While I am usually on the this day or another schedule, and still others have been known to participate in the just a quick trip and back phenomenon.

Good Idea. I only need the Scion as a dog hauler anyway. ( The wife felt taking 3 dogs to the vet in a 2 seater just didn't work. So I kept the SSR and traded in a Miata for the xA ) (PS: I came out the loser)

3800 miles a year to the vet? Either your dogs are very sick or you are driving them to see Mrs Op!
