It won't be a three alarm, maybe just a one alarm

I will put the truck in the paint shop Monday morning to have True Fire Flames put on the hood and behind the fender wells. I have been thinking about what Doug said on a post that if you didin't have the resources availabe to redo a custom paint job every two years or so because of rock chips, don't do it. I would have the resources if only I could figure out how to hide the paint shop bills from her.

Sooo, I went another direction. In my era, flames came out of the side of the engine compartment and back from the wheel wells. I learned this from reading the Hot Rod and Custom Car magazines at the Drug Store on Saturday before they made me leave for reading the magazines. I am having the flames start just back of area where the chips are on the hood so that it looks like the flames are coming out of the edge of the hood and blowing down the hood and top of the fenders. And from the fender well back along the fender.

Also the flames will start just back of the bra when I have it on the truck.

Pictures when it is finished.

Jack
