Mr. Norris Gooler.....

With his '05 supercharged "Slingshot" with a Ford 9" rear end, along with other modifications......







I have to confess here .... I knew about Norris long before he knew about me. You see, his nephew works at Chase Chevrolet and told me about Norris and his supercharged "Slingshot" running around the streets of Stockton, Ca. I have seen his "rig" running around town, but I was either working or I would see him going the oppisite direction! Sad..... But true, there was never any contact.

Until the other morning! While we were waiting to get on this well traveled road that is BUSY in the morning to do our work. Low and behold what comes by the crews that were standing by..... Norris and his "Singshot" I YELLED.... HEY NORRIS! Brake lights came on..... Today.... We had a nice Breakfest at CHUCK'S in Stockton (The BEST, and ALWAYS a waiting line) and shot the sheeeet and got to know each other. A very pleasant man with a sence of humor and is a "OLD SCHOOL HOT RODDER"

There's "another" black one runnig around in the same "HOOD" and a purple one also! Chase Chevrolet sold a lot of SSR's, it's only a matter of time. I almost forgot..... There's a red one also that I pass on Wilson Way. He /She goes straight, and I take a right onto Alpine Rd. On my way to work every morning.

I can tell you this..... Norris bought a CURRIE 9" rear end and had it cut to length. With all the provisions to mount the rear end in the rig, along with all the brake mounting bosses and ABS censors mounting bosses. The axles were drilled to our LOVELY 6 x 5 inch lug pattern
