Yes, I know it's kind of funny, Caprice has 5X5 bolt pattern and choice of wheels is much reacher in that category, as compared to 6 bolt.

But, in this particular case I wanted an SSR look, sort of fool people into thinking it's a chopped "R".
That's why I redrilled the rotors and axels, filled the unwanted holes and studded the 6 bolt pattern.

The beauty of this operation was that one stud is already in proper place, since the circle is 5".

Also, the center holes in SSR wheels are exact fit for the axle nubs and front brake rotor hub. They just fit on snug and tight, making it easy to have rims perfectly centered.

As far as going the other way around, from 6 to 5 lug, I don't see a big deal, I heard on this Forum people talk about custom ordering axels, and custom made brake rotors costining tonns of $.
