My SSR: SSR 04 – PEDIGREE SSR Chrome Wheels w/ 1st Aux. Gauge Package released for Production. #9684
An SSR PROFILE: SSR Program Planning Mgr.
I have had the pleasure of talking with Tim Olson over the past 4+ years. He has been a wealth of knowledge and shared many stories with me. He was the Program Planning Manager for the SSR and I've asked him to provide me with a brief Bio to introduce himself to all our SSR Fanatics. Tim has provided us with a link to hundreds of pictures that he has taken and or has rounded up while working in the SSR Program. Tim says he has taken over 6,000 images over the past few years and will try and update his photo website from time to time in hopes that all our members will get to view some of those behind the scenes work that went into creating our awesome SSRs. You will see many photos that were never seen before by the public.

Hi, my name is Tim Olson and I was the Program Planning Manager with SSR. I was with the SSR Team from December 2000 through April 2004. My roles on the Team were:
• Program Planning Manager - Managed Program Execution Team, Facilitated Overall Program related meetings and requirements, Managed Program Content and Program Plan, Developed Program Contract, Implemented Common Work Processes/Systems, Program Timing, Support Program/Vehicle activities
• Accessory Program Manager within the Team, working with SPO
• Business Manager - Managed business aspects of SSR program
• Webmaster - Created and maintained Team's Website, which served as VIS/Program Notebook for SSR
One of my biggest honors was a being a signer of Signature Series #23 and to see it get sold in auction in Dallas. I've been with GM since 1982 starting with Pontiac Motor Division then Saturn from 1986-1993 and have been in corporate Planning of some form ever since. I raced SCCA in the mid-1980s and have been restoring cars since I was a pre-teen.
SSR will forever be in my heart and one of these days I hope to have one, once I get my other car projects done.
Make sure you view Tim's photos in a slideshow presentation.
I want to thank Tim for taking the time to tell us about himself and to share with us so many of his great images that would have otherwise probably been just filed away never to be released to the public to see.

Tim, thanks for introducing yourself and letting us view your pictures. Your efforts have resulted in a creating a wonderful family around a wonderful truck.
Your Signature 23 is in our family. It is owned by Flassh and is being well taken care of in British Columbia Canada.
And I agree, the wagon is Much better than the HHR.
