SEMA 2010: Trucks of the SEMA Show

It wouldn't be the SEMA Show without trucks. A massive segment of all vehicle sales, cars like the Camry and Civic get a lot of attention, but Ford sells more F-Series trucks than anybody sells cars. Needless to say, the aftermarket segment for the truck industry is simply enormous, ranging from serious off-road setups, to lowriding street trucks.

All the automakers in the truck business had an official presence as well, with Ford showcasing numerous F-Series trucks, Chevy putting the focus on their Heavy Duty Silverado, while the Chrysler group of companies had everything from the Ram Power Wagon to a long list of off-road ready Jeeps. Even Toyota had some great products with an outdoorsy 4Runner and a TRD-tuned Tacoma sporting a supercharged 5.7-liter V8 out of a Tundra.

AGREE! Love them old Mustangs. I had 2 different '66 Convertibles - a Red one and a White one. Drove several Queens in the William & Mary Homecoming Parades in Williamsburg for years. Also had a '31 Model A Deluxe Roadster (the GA Tech Mascot) and a 57 TBird. Loved all these old Fords, but now I am a GM Fan - '06 SSR, '08 Buick Enclave and '02 Silverado. Would have purchase the SSR in '02 because pictures and press releases were out, but coululn't wait any longer and bought the Silverado Z71 - which is still the GoTo vehicle here in heavy snow country, and has delivered 80,000 trouble-free miles in all kinds of conditions. Chevy makes (and has always made) one helluva fine truck.
