SSR in Germany

Hello SSR Fans,

i have a 6.0 Manual Trans SSR in Germany. The SSR is my new projekt. It's
not a Daily Driver. I convert the Engine to a Cab Version with a MSD/Edelbrock Victor Jun., AFR Heads, Kooks Headers, Meziere E-Waterpump
MSD Coil Pack, Jesel Valvetrain, Comp Cam, Bary Grant Caburator, No Cats
Strokes to 427 Inches with Mahle Pistons and Celvite Rings, LUK Stage III Clutch. etc. etc. But i do not like the Front and Rear ( sorry for that) Maybe
someone can help with a manufactor that sell a other Front Grill or other Taillights - not only the 53 - and i found in a older Trucking from ASC - American Specialty Cars some coole Side Skirts - with Exhaus outlet- maybe
someone nows some sources for me where i can buy that stuff. I also have order a Set of Old Scool looked DUB Bellagio 22 front and 26 Rear Wheels.
Can i put a Airride Suspension in ?
Thanks Guys thousand times - i am here in a Deathend in BMW, Porsche,Mercedes Country. And sorry for my bad English.
Greatings from a SSR Lover from the other Side of the Ocean.

IF you do a "search" you'll find many of our members have alternative tail lights grills, facia's etc.
This site is full of info and creative people that have done some fabulous work to their SSR's!

This particular thread being a "sticky" would be beneficial to new participants who want to register, and need guidance as to what is availabe in the forum. Perhaps the "Search" mode could be mentioned for those looking for specific information as they are usually sent there when asking questions.

Otherwise this is a great leadin for "newbies" The "Ride of the month & year" should make for interesting reading.

Thanxx dascrow.

Peace

go to the forum you want to post in and click on it

on the right side of the orange bar is "forum tools" click on post a new thread or use the 'new thread' option on the upper left

good luck :)

Kiwi Dave 04-14-2008 04:29 AM

Hi from Kiwi Dave

I have just registered with the Chevy SSR Forum. I live in the North Island of New Zealand. I first saw the concept of the SSR in 2002 while in Canada. Then in 2005 I got to see and touch a SSR in Florida, and at that point I made up my mind that one day I would love to own one of these boys toys!
Later this year I have intentions to re-visit the USA and purchase my Chevy SSR dream, and travel to visit a brother who presently lives in Edmonton Canada. And then ship my SSR back to NZ.
I am excited about finding and becoming a registered member of this forum, as it will link me with others who live the SSR dream.
Cheers to all, long live Chevy!!

Vendor Information

I don't understand why nobody wants to answer my questions?
I just joined as a supporting vendor on the 18th and have been unable to get a better explanation of how I can advertise and also place my banner under the vendor site.
I am getting no response to PM's to you or an email to sanja@autoforums.com sent on the 20th?????

HI Gary,

Sorry that you have not gotten any contact from our new owners or our new Administrators. I only help out with normal maintenance or routine items on our site. I don't have anything to do with our sites advertisements or placement of vendor's ads etc.

I will PM you with contact information for you to hopefully be able to get more direct answers to your questions.

Hope that helps you out.

Jgrden 11-22-2008 05:59 PM

I'd love to help you out but my responcibilities include communications, eating, drinking, socializing, gossiping and reviewing the weather.

Well, come on to Florida. You could fit in real well, weather doesn't change all that much either.......

Rims

I just purchased a 2004 SSR with the Chevy mat style chrome rims. I would rather have the same rim in a chrome high finish. What to do? Tony Allen

Any SSR Clubs in the Albuquerque area?

I just bought a 2005 Aquablur with 45K miles on it. The vehicle came from Buckeye, AZ. I know there are several SSR's around the Albuquerque area, and would like to know if they have regular gatherings?:blur:

wildcat66 05-01-2009 05:06 PM

Go to The Route66 Gift store (located across the street from the casino) and ask for DaRetOne He has a red one and I bet would love to meet you!

Congrats on your new addition:thumbs

CARJOCKEY 05-08-2009 03:36 PM

Disappointed

I ordered an SSR chrome chin spoiler back in December '08, through MPD1@iendeavor.com. I sent my money in right away thinking I would get it soon after. I called repeatedly and he could not confirm anything. On March 11. 2009, I called and at Erics request he told me that he was unable to get the spoiler and did I want my money back--I said yes, and as of this date after repeated calls to him, I have nothing.
Met other SSR owners at Maggie Valley and found out they too had problems getting their money back.
BEWARE BEFORE YOU SEND HIM ANY MONEY!!!

John and Mary Grden here. We haven't attended runs as we want to. Usually Houtex is the one who starts them so keep an eye on his posts. We live in Conroe but might be moving to Galveston in a couple months.
