Strokes to 427 Inches with Mahle Pistons and Celvite Rings, LUK Stage III Clutch. etc. etc. But i do not like the Front and Rear ( sorry for that) Maybe
someone can help with a manufactor that sell a other Front Grill or other Taillights - not only the 53 - and i found in a older Trucking from ASC - American Specialty Cars some coole Side Skirts - with Exhaus outlet- maybe
someone nows some sources for me where i can buy that stuff. I also have order a Set of Old Scool looked DUB Bellagio 22 front and 26 Rear Wheels.
Can i put a Airride Suspension in ?

IF you do a "search" you'll find many of our members have alternative tail lights grills, facia's etc.
This site is full of info and creative people that have done some fabulous work to their SSR's!

This particular thread being a "sticky" would be beneficial to new participants who want to register, and need guidance as to what is availabe in the forum. Perhaps the "Search" mode could be mentioned for those looking for specific information as they are usually sent there when asking questions.
Otherwise this is a great leadin for "newbies" The "Ride of the month & year" should make for interesting reading.

how do I post a new post?
I'm already a registered member but when I tried to become a paid supporting member it kept telling me "error" try later. Also I can't figure ot exactly how to post a new thread. I do know how to piggy back but some get a little testy? Can you help? John
I have just registered with the Chevy SSR Forum. I live in the North Island of New Zealand. I first saw the concept of the SSR in 2002 while in Canada. Then in 2005 I got to see and touch a SSR in Florida, and at that point I made up my mind that one day I would love to own one of these boys toys!
Later this year I have intentions to re-visit the USA and purchase my Chevy SSR dream, and travel to visit a brother who presently lives in Edmonton Canada. And then ship my SSR back to NZ.
I am excited about finding and becoming a registered member of this forum, as it will link me with others who live the SSR dream.
Cheers to all, long live Chevy!!

I will PM you with contact information for you to hopefully be able to get more direct answers to your questions.

Any SSR Clubs in the Albuquerque area?
I just bought a 2005 Aquablur with 45K miles on it. The vehicle came from Buckeye, AZ. I know there are several SSR's around the Albuquerque area, and would like to know if they have regular gatherings?
I ordered an SSR chrome chin spoiler back in December '08, through MPD1@iendeavor.com. I sent my money in right away thinking I would get it soon after. I called repeatedly and he could not confirm anything. On March 11. 2009, I called and at Erics request he told me that he was unable to get the spoiler and did I want my money back--I said yes, and as of this date after repeated calls to him, I have nothing.
Met other SSR owners at Maggie Valley and found out they too had problems getting their money back.
BEWARE BEFORE YOU SEND HIM ANY MONEY!!!

John and Mary Grden here. We haven't attended runs as we want to. Usually Houtex is the one who starts them so keep an eye on his posts. We live in Conroe but might be moving to Galveston in a couple months.
