Hi Ray
Recieved my windsuppressr. It was in good condition despite a foot print in the middle of the box. Betty & I put in place without a problem but what do we do with than brown paper coating. ( joking ) Then the needed test drive, any reason works. And what a difference. Great Product.
Hope you meet you along the way.
Thanks, Betty & Bob

As these are one of the coolest products for the SSR I stated this project.
For all of you who have asked and are worried about a "blue" WindSupressor, let me tell where I am at in my research.
I have been getting the regulations and sepcifications for the lower 48. Well I have only reached 17 so far mostly east coast.
Until I am done here is a high level summary so far.
Most regulations address "exterior lights' primarily undercarriage and 'auxilliary" and each of these have their own rules. Maine for instance has specific colors for Aux lights and is defined as a lamp or source for additional exterior illumination.
Basicly, so far the Windsupressor does not apply because
1. It is technicly an interior source
2. It is not an auxilliary light source or intended for extra illumination
3. It does not have the luminosity (sic) that constitutes a light.
Also as for the worry of law enforcment. The rules for most states explicitly say that they can not be on the exterior or roof of the vehicle and do not flash as to make the vehicle look like police lighting.
I am am obtaining as much official documantation as I can.
As always, if you are concerned, call your local police and registry. Just because the police may not like it,.iIt more than likely legal.
I have asked MA stat and local police and they all just respond, "cool"!.
As I have not made it to the South and west yet, if you have the official data, PM me and I will add it to the Doc.
This hopefully will give usl guidleines for ALL lighting.
Hi! I received my lighted WindsuppreSSR yesterday afternoon. I installed and was pleasantly surprised. It is so much nicer than that OEM fish net windscreen. I am also able to clean the rear window now with the Glass Wizard where as I couldn't with the OEM windscreen since it was too high.
It is a first class quality product and it looks stunning on my SSR.

I have a 2004 that i want to put a windsuppressor on except i see that the mounting has threaded studs that do not look long enough to fit a wind suppressor on. How does it mount. Thanks 623-910-5669 purple rod
