05 Gauge pod ?? HELP!

Brother-n-law called and said he got his gauge panel but had a question. He said it shows some sensor in the front with a harnness? Anyone know about this or is it just plug and play like the 04's? He siad his gauge package did not come with a sensor in it..

The only sensor in the front that I'm aware of is the outside ambiant temp sensor in front of the radiator for the outside temp sensor in the gauge panel.

while I have done 6 gauges mon 04s I have done only one 05 and that was a year ago, and the kit came with the outside sensor, all you have to do is plug the sensor in. By the way that 05 has been on our lot for a year now. it's an aqua blur with a 6sp trans fully loaded with all the options.

On our 05, the temp sensor was already mounted. The gauges were plug and play.
