2005 SSR Passenger Cupholder and Cover

I recieved my replacement passenger side dashboard cupholder and cover from Mark at the Chevrolet dealer in Modesto, California (Mark is wonderful!). I have a couple of questions to install both parts:

How do I remove the passanger dash cupholder assembly?
How do I install the cover on the cupholder assembly (do I neend to glue the cover to the cupholder or does it somehow snap on?) ?

I am concerned becuase both parts are plastic.
Thanks,
Bob Morasko

The quick answer.
There are 4 "clips" holding it in. You need the special tool or 4 small screw drivers to release the "clips" all at once. Wingrider has done MANY of these and may be able to help you through it.

The cover should just snap on.

I have two clips holding the fascia on the dashboard cupholder. They snap on and off and on and off....I therefore never use it.

OK! I got the cover for my in dash cup holder... All looks fine except the bill ($34.00). anyway... I head back home and get ready to install the Face plate and I dont see any type of clip that holds the face to the cup holder itself..... What am I missing here... The cover lines up but there seems to be no way to retain it to the holder itself... I looked at the surface of the actual cup holder and there is no evidence of glue....

This one has me baffled.... Im about ready to get out the tube of silicone and glue the bitch in place.......

Please I need a reply....... Help me out......
