6 Speed Indicator

Hi Guys - has anyone seen an afermarket kit that illuminates / flags which gear the trany is in? My wife does'nt drive it often but seems to have a challenge with which gear shes in. An interactive gear shift knob that illuminates or dash indicator is what I had in mind.

Haven't seen anything on this forum regarding such a system. The idea is good, but the execution could be difficult. As a start, unless the transmission is already so equipped, sensors would be required to monitor shifter position - then all the electronics to create a display.

Just out of curiosity, I'm going to check the Dakota Digital site, and their catalog to see if they have produced anything similar.
