Ok, now I'm little curious, Rainwater

What type of "accident" could an innocent little black vent have?

Had one of those small black cell phone holders hanging on the dash vent. When I tried to remove it I broke off and cracked one of the vent fins...... Boo Hoo!!! I would like to replace it but can't seem to see any way to remove it without dismantling the dash!!!

Talking vent replacement

there are detailed directions on doing just that in the "extended" owners manual the dealers have. I believe it calls for a floor jack, fire axe(small),complete set of screwdrivers and a 12 pack of your favorite beverage!
Seriously, with a good strong light and a thin screw driver to gently pry around the edges until you find when the tabs are you should be able to remove it. I would first go to the dealer and order a new one and "scope it out" as to insertion into the dash.

OK, this works as I did it yesterday on two broken vents. I acquired two new vents and replaced them like the above instructions. Just took my time .
Good Luck to all.
