The green filter is the same as a k&n just a different company.

Yes, just like the k&n would be. But I don't know how much.

Who makes the chrome wheels for the SSR? I have a 2005 and scratched the two right wheels on a curb, and would like to have them re-chromed and painted on the back side.

type "chrome wheels" into the search window and hit enter and you will find a thread from jim g. that discusses this subject thoroughly.

Back to air filters!

I didn't have my digital camera with me Saturday when MTI educated me on air filters, but I will try to get some photos Monday or Tuesday and then explain some of the differences between stock, K&N, and the one MTI sells.

After Reese and Chis walked me through them, it was easy to see how they differ, and why the MTI one is the best of the 3.

Jim, more great information...

Is the MTI filter "just" the filter OR the whole filtering package??

P/P

JUST the filter, Penelope. That's why it impressed me. MTI does not yet have an intake package. They will be testing the Vararam as soon as I get the first one released.
