another cargo net question

Haven't had the time to really investigate the Wifes SSR so I took a moment after work today to check out the cargo net. It was in the right saddlebag so I got it out to try it out.

Then it hit me, we seem to be missiing two tie downs on the back tailgate. I assume the two black hole covers should pop out and some how a loop or tiedown device goes in them.

The only gotcha is we didn't get them unless they are the same as the tie downs on the cargo rails and we do have a few extra not being used there.

Any ideas?

I haven't take her saddlebags out yet - to see how much more room you get.

They are the same as the tie downs on the rails. Pop out the tabs on the tailgate and they fit right in.

Be sure to use a pair of pliers to hold onto those tabs in the tailgate. I pried them up with a screwdriver and then one of them fell into the tailgate where it now resides. Won't be gettin that one out for a while....if ever.

That's correct! Be sure and put the two with the longest studs in the tailgate because the other four are too short.
