Another One!

An Other One! That make three accidents that I know of this month. One in Texas, hit Firestone Gater. One in Florida, hit a raccoon. Now this one.

I got a call from Gerry Ulman in NC. He hit a Firestone Gater (Truck Tread) and took OUT his radiator support. He has some damage to radiator & condenser and is holding his radiator and condenser in with "LOTS" of tie wraps.

I am shipping him a FREE plastic one until Tech Day in NC.

Will install a Steel one then.

Dicktator

Pictures from the Florida Raccoon accident.

1. Raccoon damage to OEM Plastic Radiator Support
2. Damage to condenser/radiator
3. Repairs
4. NEW steel radiator support.

Why? It's the same amount of work to put in a plastic one, as it is to do it right.

He wanted to drive his R, and I don't have any of Mike's Supports right now.

They are in shippment.

We can't ship him a steel one, if we don't have one.

I would like very much to do it right and get him a steel one.

Just trying to help out a fellow Fanatic until we can make it right.

Ok, my bad, I thought you still had one of Mike's left. You're so hard to keep up with.

I dropped off the latest run of lower supports at the powder coater last week. They should be ready for me to pick up tomorrow or Tuesday. I'll go fetch one out of the batch on my lunch hour and get it to the shipper after work. Please send me a PM with Gerry Ulman's address and I'll get one out to him right away. We'll work out payment and such afterward.

Thanks Mike,
But Gerry never sent me his address after I spoke with him. I gave him my email address but I never received anything.
He is NOW on vacation until the end of the week.

When he contacts me again I will see what I have to do. He may want to wait until Tech Day in NC. He said he is only an hour away from Salisbury.

Dick
