Another Tech Day for the Picayune SSR Fanatacs Club. I went to Wally World this afternoon and on the Interstate when I turned on the left turn signal, the dreaded IGNITION SWITCH SYNDROME STRUCK! The ABS WARNING, PARKING BRAKE and SERVICE BRAKE MESSAGES CAME ON. When I started the truck up again, no problem, until I turned the left blinker on, the the same warnings.
Sooo, tomorrow I will install one of my two spare ignition switches. I had planned to anyway before going to Flagstaff. While I am working on the truck I will service the cooling system too. I had planned this to do before Flagstaff, but this will give me a head start on getting the truck ready, so all I will have to do is way it the week before is wax it and put the bra on.
