Audio schematic??

Anyone have the audio system schematics? I want to find out why the clarity of the speaker changes when I put top down I usually have to hit the up button just enough to make it go back to full sound. I looked into the auto volume and it's not that I think fm thought it would help making the speakers go louder but it just distorts the bass. And no it's not the speakers

I remember someone saying that the radio volume was supposed to go up automatically when the top went down. (for road noise) But no one has ever had that happen.

Has this happend just recently? It sounds like Rebel mentioned, there is a BIG difference in the sound quality when the top is up or down. I enjoy it much more with the top up, the top down acoustics is kind of muddy. If you have a lot of bass set I could see it causing a more noticeable issue.

Or.... if you're sure it's not the speakers it might be the amp.

wingrider posted this awhile back and might help

There is an "Ambient Noise Sensor" built into the system, which actually drives the AMP to a higher output during top-down operations.
The sensor is located in the lower dash, drivers side.
It is tied to the amp, and should work as soon as there is more ambient noise indicated by the sensor.
You may have a bad sensor.
