Aux gauges

I just purchased the gauges from tat2girl88 for my 03. Has anyone changed a gage out to a different function ? I dont see the need for the gallons per hour one and would like to have a outside temp if possible , or a more usefull gage. I like the idea of a tranny temp monitor, hope it is accurate. Any ideas out there?
Thanks, Howard

The tranny temp gauge gets it's readings from the EEC, which does not continuously sample transmission temperatures as a normal trans temp gauge does. It therefore will give misleading temps... do a search on the trans temp gauge and you'll see what I mean.

GPH I agree is pretty useless, the problem is that any aftermarket gauge would look out of place, and to get the outside air temp gauge you probably would have to buy a whole 05 gauge package. Then there's the problem of connecting to a sender, which is plug and play on the 05. I think the sensor is still there out behind the bumper cover, though I could be mistaken.

If you go aftermarket, check out the Dakota Digitals somebody installed in their aux gage package. I had these in my previous car, and they look great, are easy to read, and are extremely accurate.
