Battery Tender advice

I'm wanting to hook a battery tender to my SSR for winter storage. What are my options on where to hook it up and how do I do it? Thanks for the info.

I use the clips.Under hood clip red (+) to bolt in red box. clip Black (-) to a bolt on the body.Make sure red light is on.Run cord along fender and out front and close hood.Unhook in spring when its time to go crusing.when its charged up light will turn green and stay green unless it needs a little charge then it will go back to green. The tender will make your battery last alot longer.Just changed a 7 yr old battery.

I've had a Battery Tender Plus plugged into the AUX Receptacle on the dash near the ashtray (NOT the one in the ashtray) for a few years now. Excellent results so far.

The optional AUX Plug and Extension Cord eliminates the need to raise the hood and worry about those clips staying hooked up properly. Definitely worth the few extra bucks.

Good Luck

I've user Battery Tenders on my Corvettes & SSR for many years. I have had the same one hooked up to my SSR at the aux receptacle in the right rear couner of the SSR bed for over 8 years now, with no trouble at all.

It looks like Jerry already has this answered. I just wanted to say that I have two of the Battery Tenders. One on the SSR and one on my vintage BMW motorcycle. They really work well. I even gave one to my brother in law for Christmas last year.

If you want to use the aux port, yes, the cigarette lighter adapter is that what you'll need. Those are sold separately from the battery tender.
