Bent Hood

I had reported that my hood had been tweaked while at the Chevy dealer's. I was told that it was caused by closing the Hood too forceful. They said that the strut was making the hood like a teeter totter an therefore putting too much force on the hinge.
So, a word to the wise, BE GENTLE!

I replaced my struts with LSTs. The factory struts were "freezing up". I could feel the tension in them. The hood would not close easily. Thanks for the warning. Others can benefit.
