Blinker Holding Water
Heads-up fanatics
Noticed this the last time I washed the and again this time. My right front blinker is holding water inside and as been for a few weeks if not longer. I thought maybe it would leak out.....looks like it's there to stay.
My warranty expires 9/30/07 so a call to the dealer on Monday for unfinished issues and now this, hopefully a quick turn around due to two SSR Runs coming up soon (fingers crossed).
I just washed and detailed Boopster. Planning on driving her for the weekend as we all know how dirty they come back after sitting at the dealership
Definitely get it replaced. Water inside the reflector will destroy the reflective coating. The lens is most likely cracked around the main housing (they are heat fused together during manufacturing, but sometimes, it's not done well), allowing the water in.

They will replace it under warranty, I have already had one of mine replaced.

Was it replaced due to water?

I use the Mr. Clean Machine...so the pressure is not hard. Besides the location of the blinker makes it a little hard to get water in there as I wash the R in a downward motion

Yes, it had leaked water in. when the water dried up, it left the lens very hazy. You could not see it blinking very well. Did not show up very well compared to the other one.
